Born and raised in Montreal, Chet went into business at the ripe age of 19 which he continued for almost 30 years. His company was well known for unsurpassed customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, due to changing technology his product (typewriters) eventually went the way of the dinosaur. This then gave Chet the time to attain his BA (Honours & Distinction) at Concordia University in Montreal and later enroll in a Master’s program. After doing some consulting work, management and sales at various positions, “I missed the challenges and rewards of running your own business” says Chet. “Becoming a realtor is like running your own company; your rewards are directly proportionate to your performance”. Although from Montreal, Chet has been a frequent visitor to Vermont for over 25 years. “With what little free time I had, I spent summers at my cottage on Lake Champlain enjoying boating while winters found me skiing the slopes of Jay Peak………I guess you can say my mind was in Montreal but my heart was in Vermont”. Now that Chet has moved from Montreal to Vermont he says he feels he is where he belongs. Of course, being from Montreal has given Chet the ability to be fluent in 3 languages; English, French, and Polish (and perhaps dabble….or maybe the word should be babble…. in a few others!!!).
