There is a strong community bond in Colchester and with a population around 17,500. It has been one of the fastest growing towns in our area due to its large land mass for construction. Not long ago, it was voted as one of the best places in the country for educating your child in a small town. Colchester high school has approximately 2200 students. Colchester High School is home to the award-winning Colchester Theatre Company. St. Michael’s College is also located here.
