Richmond Vermont is only 15 minutes east from Burlington. It is bisected by the Winooski river and is home to the famous land mark the old round church just over the Winooski river from the center of town. Richmond is home to the Olympic champion Barbara Cochran and her family. The old rope tow is still active on their small slope where they still teach children how to ski. It is an active family hill where my kids learned from the best and enjoyed every minute of it.
